About Centrose

Centrose is applying scientific breakthroughs in novel sugar chemistry in order to discover, develop and commercialize small molecule therapeutics. Centrose is the first Company that solely enhances small molecule drugs with mono-, di-, and tri-sugars not found in Nature (see Science & Technology). Using the proprietary CarboConnect discovery engine, Centrose is making new drugs that contain novel sugar attachments.

Sugars are critical molecules that regulate biological processes and pathways in the human body and play fundamental roles in diseases as well as in drug action. From what Centrose now understands about sugars and sugar chemistry, our new drug leads are expected to have fewer development failures, move quicker through the pipeline and cost less to discover and manufacture.
